The preparations for IPL 2023 have already started. All the ten franchises submitted the complete list of players included in the squad through retain, release and trade to the BCCI on 15 November. Indian team’s fast bowler Shardul Thakur has been made a part of his team by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) from Delhi Capitals through the trade window. In IPL 2023, Shardul will be seen playing for KKR.

Thakur is currently on a tour of New Zealand. Meanwhile, an old video of the team’s training session is going viral in which the right-arm bowler was seen copying the bowling style of former India spinner Harbhajan Singh, this video has been shared by KKR on his Instagram. . KKR has stitched together video clips of both the bowlers. Please tell that Bhajji was a part of the Kolkata team in the 14th season of IPL.

In IPL 2022, Shardul played 14 matches for Delhi in which he took 15 wickets at an average of 31.53. While talking about Bhajji, he got a chance to play only three matches for KKR in the 14th season, in which Bhajji did not get any success.

KKR team included 3 players through trade for IPL 2023

Ahead of the upcoming IPL season, Kolkata Knight Riders have added Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Lockie Ferguson to their squad through the trade window, apart from Shardul Thakur. In this way, KKR has retained a total of 14 players for the 16th season. The mini auction for IPL 2023 will be held in Kochi on 23 December. An amount of 7.05 crores is left in KKR’s purse for this auction.
