Kuldeep Sen Shahbaz Ahmed To Replace Yash Dayal And Ravindra Jadeja For Bangladesh Odis

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and fast bowler Yash Dayal have been ruled out of the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. In his place, Kuldeep Sen and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed got a chance in the team. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) gave its official information on Wednesday (November 23).

Sen and Shahbaz were selected for the ODI series against New Zealand. But both have now been included in the squad for the Bangladesh tour instead. No replacement has been announced in place of these two for the ODI series against New Zealand.


Jadeja is yet to fully recover from the knee injury he suffered during the Asia Cup. At the same time, he will remain under the supervision of the medical team of BCCI. Dayal, on the other hand, has been ruled out of the Bangladesh series due to a lower back problem.

The first match of the ODI series between India and Bangladesh will be played on 4 December. The second ODI will be held on December 7 and the third and last on December 10. The first two ODIs will be played in Mirpur and the third ODI in Chittagong.
