Lahore: Intermittent heavy rains in different parts of Punjab wreaked havoc.

Heavy rains in Lahore became a nuisance to the people and rain water inundated houses in different areas causing damage to people’s property.

In Gujranwala, as in Lahore, heavy rains caused water to seep into people’s homes, while the district administration disappeared completely. Citizens were seen draining water with their help.

Heavy rains in Lahore flooded Jinnah Hospital and Children’s Hospital, causing severe hardship to patients and medical staff.

The rains continued for the second day in Pandadan Khan and the low lying areas were inundated due to continuous rains. In Kot Omar, many cattle were swept away in the rain water flowing from the mountains.

Overnight rains also caused flooding in Dina, while rainwater flooded several houses in Dina city and suburbs. Which caused damage to property. Due to flooding in the streets and alleys of Dina city, the citizens faced severe difficulties.

In Sargodha, Chiniot and other areas, it rained with thunder and the weather became pleasant. It continued to rain intermittently throughout the night in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and surrounding areas.
